This was a complete renovation project in which a home that had seen very little maintenance since the 1970s underwent a full transformation. It was certainly a challenging project, but one that resulted in a stunning final outcome.
The layout of the property was significantly redesigned to improve functionality and create a more comfortable living environment. Previously, access to the basement level was only possible through the bathroom. This passage was closed off, allowing for a much more practical bathroom layout, while a separate entrance to the basement was created.
The kitchen was also opened up to the living room, creating a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. This new configuration provides a greater sense of space, more natural light, and a stronger connection between the living areas.
The hallway was another area that required attention, as it felt rather dark. To address this, we opened part of the wall and installed a glass feature. This elegant detail allows natural light to flow through the hallway and into other parts of the home, creating a brighter and more spacious atmosphere.
The result is a modern, bright, and comfortable home that perfectly meets contemporary living standards.
